KUUL Earning Model — Guided Calculator & Rollout

Global Inputs & Guidance

Change these core assumptions first. Each field below includes a short explanation of what we expect and why it matters.

What to enter: typical courier payout per package on community routes. Example: 8 for medium intercity. Used to compute KUUL shipping margin for community option.
What to enter: how many packages a courier typically accepts on a route. Example: 3. The multi-package bonus is divided by this number to show per-package effect.
What to enter: unit cost of the physical KUUL box (materials). Example: 2.
What to enter: average transport cost KUUL pays to move a box to the warehouse. Example: 3.
What to enter: average handling cost per box at intake (labour, scanning). Example: 1.
Quick actions
How to use this tool
Step 1: Edit the global inputs above to match your assumptions.
Step 2: Use the sample buttons to populate tables, then tweak values inline.
Step 3: Create scenarios in the Scenario table to compare outcomes side-by-side.
Step 4: Use the Rollout panel (below) to compute final rollout totals and success targets.

KUUL Fee Calculator

Discount rule

Enter item price and discount (as decimal). Guidance appears under each field.

Item Price €KUUL Fee €Seller Share Before €Discount % (0–1)Seller After €Buyer Pays €Why fill this?
+ Add fee row
Field guidance
Item Price: seller’s ask price (e.g., 15, 50).
Discount: decimal fraction (0.20 = 20%). This tool applies discount only to the seller share (KUUL fee remains constant).

Shipping Calculator

Compare traditional shipping vs community courier. Fill buyer pays and KUUL cost; courier pay is used for community option.

OptionBuyer Pays €KUUL Cost €Courier Pay €KUUL Margin €Why fill this?
+ Add shipping option
Field guidance
Buyer Pays: what buyer is charged for shipping (e.g., 7.90 or 4.90).
KUUL Cost: KUUL’s negotiated carrier cost (e.g., 5.50).
Courier Pay: payout to community courier (used for community option).

Courier Earnings Calculator

Define base rates and bonuses. The multi-package bonus is entered as a total and split across packages using the global Total Packages input.

Base Rate €Size xFragile €Speed €Multi Total €PerPkg €Sustain €Efficiency €Total/Package €Why fill this?
+ Add courier row
Field guidance
Base Rate: distance-based base (e.g., 12 for intercity).
Size x: multiplier for package size (1.0 = small, 1.2 = medium).
Multi Total: total multi-package bonus to split across packages (e.g., 3€ total). The tool divides by TotalPackages.

KUUL Box Economics

Compute profit per box and per item. Use global box cost inputs or override per-row.

Seller Pays €Cost Box €Logistics €Handling €Total Cost €Profit/Box €Items in BoxProfit/Item €Why fill this?
+ Add box scenario
Field guidance
Seller Pays: KUUL Box price charged to seller (default 10€).
Costs: default values come from the Inputs panel but can be overridden per row.

Scenario Summary

Create scenarios to compare KUUL fee, seller net, shipping margin and KUUL total margin. Use these to decide rollout pricing and subsidies.

ScenarioItem Price €Discount %ShippingKUUL Fee €Seller Net €Shipping Margin €Courier Cost €KUUL Margin €Seller Final €Why fill this?
+ Add scenario
Field guidance
Scenario: short name for the case (e.g., “Traditional 15€”).
Discount: decimal (0.20 = 20%).
Use multiple scenarios to compare traditional vs community shipping and different discount levels.

Rollout Result Calculator

Enter Phase budgets and timelines (defaults from the KUUL Launch Plan). The calculator aggregates totals and computes simple success-targets based on your inputs.

What to enter: total Phase 1 budget (website, pilot stores, warehouse, labor, marketing).
How many weeks Phase 1 runs (default 8).
Phase 2 budget (engagement features, expansion to 10 stores).
Phase 2 duration (default 8).
Phase 3 budget (scale, couriers, warehouses).
Phase 3 duration (default 16).
Enter your target throughput (items/week) after full rollout.
Average selling price used to estimate revenue impact.
What this computes
– Total budget across phases, total duration, average weekly spend.
– Simple revenue projection at target throughput and avg price.
– Suggested success metrics (sell-through, rejection rate targets) based on KUUL plan defaults.
When you’re happy with scenarios and rollout, export CSV and paste the Rollout Summary into your project plan.
